Poem #6 – Fade

Well better late than never, here’s the poem for Friday, it’s an old one I wrote almost two years ago and it is called Fade. Give it a read πŸ™‚

If one more drop could soothe my thirst
I would drink until nothing was left;
swallow down your essence,
drowning myself in your purity;
no air is needed, nothing else.
A constant, and content way to fade;
hand in hand, and hold till then
to whisper those words unsaid.

The last thing that is needed is clarity,
to point out the mistakes in the dark;
a hidden reminiscent way to dwindle,
to show where the boundaries lurk.
Far beyond our control, where no one
but anyone will ever know; what it is.

If one more drop could soothe my thirst
I would drink until nothing was left
of myself and of everything surrounding.

A constant and content way to fade;
far beyond those paranoid whispers
where only we can be, but anyone will ever know.
